Notes - George had a son Tom to his first marriage. He was a widower in 1901. He also had two unmarried sisters who were school teachers and visited him and his family in the 1920s. He was a coal miner until his feet were scalded by a hot water flood while working underground. He then taught himself to repair clocks and watches. He suffered from pernicious amaemia and later took to a wheelchair because of a creeping paralysis.
- (Medical):Informant was E. Pearson, widow of deceased of 22 Carlton Street, Leeds.
