    • On their marriage certificate both John T. and Sarah J. were living at Swan Village, West Bromwich. Family stories tell of John Thomas pushing a hand cart with Sarah Jane's, and his own posessions, over the penine hills from Leeds to Manchester. This was probably between 1893 and 1894.
      They had 11 children but 4 had died before 1911. (1911 census)
